Get Your Tax Return Transcript

The IRS has made it possible for you to get transcripts of your past tax returns, status of your tax account, and past wage and income transcripts by going to IRS,gov/Individuals and clicking on “Get Transcript ONLINE” or “Get Transcript by Mail”.  This new tool could be very helpful if you need income validation for mortgage loan applications, student and SBA loans, as well as answering questions your tax preparer may ask you.
